He says: ‘Let me be honest here for a sec: there are no magical weight loss pills or amazing machines that can be paid in 5 monthly small payments that will help you lose 40 pounds in a month. Accomplishing your goals is going to take a lot of effort. You are going to have to work your little ass off. You are going to have to workout and have a good diet.
And guess what? Even after all of this you might not lose weight as fast as you wish or as fast as you had expected. There is nothing you can do about it. It might take 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 months, but so what? Do you give up? F@CK NO! You are just going to have to keep going at it. You cannot start this journey thinking that one week at the gym will make up for 10 years of bad eating habits. If it were that easy there wouldn’t be hundreds of fitness blogs because everyone would have amazing bodies. It takes time but you cannot just throw in the towel, you have to keep pushing forward. Because even if you cannot see it your body IS changing, it is adjusting to this new way of life, it is using all those stored calories to keep on going.
I know it really might seem like you’re just wasting your time, but trust me guys: as long as you keep on going you will definitely see results. Don’t give up just when everything is about to change.’

She says: ‘For people that have doubts that healthy living and exercise works, well… I hope this gives you a little piece of mind. That was me in the blue about 2 and a half years ago. I was at my heaviest in that picture and the weight gain was all within 4 months. I spent days and nights eating donuts, not sleeping, drinking lattes and studying. My weight was about 138 pounds. And going from 112 to 138 is a lot in 4 months. The weight went to my arms, stomach and ass and boobs and thighs and face. GROSS. I was so embarrassed when my boyfriend lifted me and said I was the heaviest girl he had ever dated. The very next day I took my ass to the gym and decided I would never be that heavy again.
The first year was spent on doing the wrong things… I still ate crap but tried to burn it off with the gym. So in the end I didn’t see results. I even tried diet pills and they did not work. Fast forward to 2012. Within the last 8 months I’ve changed my eating and started weights and this is what I look like today: picture of me in purple dress. I’m strong, healthy and confident. So yes, a weight loss journey is long and hard but it’s worth it!!!’
Anonymous, age 20, lost almost 15 pounds in 3 months by eating more healthily and working out.
She says: ‘I literally just started running 5 days a week, stopped drinking alcohol every night, stopped drinking soda 3-5 times a day, started taking the stairs, and started being conscientious of what I was eating (e.g white bread vs. whole grain). I stopped eating out of boredom and started working out. It’s as simple as that.’
