She says: – I’m 5′ “3 and 22, and most of my life I have always been overweight. It hit an all time high this past January when I stepped on the scale and saw 180 pounds. I realized something had to be done about it, and so I started lightly just going on my treadmill every day, and eating healthier. Slowly the weight all started coming off and by June I was 160 pounds. Since I was told I’m allergic to gluten, I had to to monitor my diet even more, and reached 145Ibs. In April I joined kickboxing – it’s a 1 hour class that I do 4-5 times a week, and I don’t know where I would be without it! -
Suzanne’s weight loss of 143 pounds didn’t come easy. After experiencing the negative effects of extreme dieting, she eventually discovered that the best way to lose weight and keep it off is to eat healthily.
She says: ‘I was put on such an extreme diet that I actually lost my mind. I hadn’t eaten carbs for months and was never allowed to put an ounce of fat in my body. As a result, I became illogical and felt the whole world was against me. It was so scary. I eventually came to terms with the fact that weight loss must be achieved through balance and proper nutrition.‘
