After discovering that she was intolerant to gluten, wheat, rice, grains, dairy and artificial sugars, Britanie cut these out of her diet and began to eat a diet composed of 70-80% raw food instead. After doing this for five years, she has lost a total of 73 pounds.
She says: ‘I absolutely LOVE eating the way that I do. When I read about the damage that cooked and processed foods and meats are doing to most of the worlds population, it’s truly hard to go back to eating the way that I was.‘

They say: - We started working out at CrossFit Chicago. It’s a total-body fitness program that focuses on functional movements (i.e moves you would do in everyday life, such as squats or lifting heavy objects) performed at a high intensity. Then, we cut out all processed food and ate only ‘real food.’ We felt so energetic right away and that made us want to continue exercising and eating right. -
Their weight loss tip: - Make the commitment to yourself and your spouse that you will do at least one activity together, such as exercise or eating healthy. Your spouse can give you that extra support you need to make sure you continue. -
