I always try to think ‘permanent’ when I adjust my diet in any way – if I can’t realistically see myself doing it forever, then I won’t do it at all. The way I see it, by following temporary diets, you’re only temporarily keeping the weight off.’

After discovering that she was intolerant to gluten, wheat, rice, grains, dairy and artificial sugars, Britanie cut these out of her diet and began to eat a diet composed of 70-80% raw food instead. After doing this for five years, she has lost a total of 73 pounds.
She says: ‘I absolutely LOVE eating the way that I do. When I read about the damage that cooked and processed foods and meats are doing to most of the worlds population, it’s truly hard to go back to eating the way that I was.‘
